Habitat: Mesothropic pools, also found in oxbows and fishponds, mostly in forested setting
Distribution: Since 1970 a male and one female, probably wanderers, were observed in a well vegetated pool in the most southern part of The Netherlands in 2006. Young fresh male and some exuviae were found in 2010 De Weerribben. In 2011 several new localities with several individuals were discovered in De Weerribben and De Wieden.
Flight Season: May, June and July.
Status: Very rare in Europe. Extinct since 1970 in The Netherlands and probably always rare. From 2010 very rare.
