Habitat: Small open pools with less vegetation. Sometimes little streams or cattle drinking pools. 

Distribution:  Scarce in the coastal provinces. Common at sandy soils.

Flight season: In May and June most abundant. From the end of April to Oktober.

Status: Common in The Netherlands
