Habitat: Like L. dubia in acidic oligothropic bog and heath habitats.Sometimes in little peatbogs, fenlands and in the coastal dunes.
Distribution: Most abundant in the northern part of the country.Rare in the western part.
Flight Season: Most numbers of this species fly in May and June, earlier than L. dubia. From april to August.
Status: Fairly common in The Netherlands.
