Habitat: Largely unshaded (usually rocky) rivers and streams.In the Netherlands small rivers with sand and gravel banks.
Distribution: Only in the south of the country (Limburg). In 2000 a possible population was discovered at river the Roer.
Flight season: June to September.
Status: Very rare in The Netherlands.
