Habitat: Only dystrophic bogs with small pits and hollows with small pits and hollows with living peatmoss in which the larveae live
Distribution: At present only four small and widely scattered populations are known. These are found in the second half of the 1990s in the border regions of southern Noord-Brabant, southern Limburg and eastern Gelderland. In 2005 two small populations were discovered in Overijssel
Flight seaon: Half of May to Half of September. Most July to half-August.
